Jana Lange works as an advisor in the sector project sustainable economic and financial systems. She provides technical and conceptual advisory on sustainable and development finance to the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). Jana joined GIZ’s business development department as a project manager in 2022, where she worked on building new modalities to mobilize private capital through technical cooperation. Prior to joining GIZ, Jana worked at a digital payment provider based in Stockholm and an impact investing firm with a focus on African start-ups based in Frankfurt. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and International Organization from University of Groningen and a Master’s degree in Economic Development from Lund University.
