Yaëlle is a Planning Officer for Sustainable Finance at GIZ, where she focuses on policy development, nature finance, and carbon markets. In this role, she oversees GIZ’s Sustainable Finance portfolio, designing and supporting the implementation of projects across diverse contexts, including Peru, Brazil, Senegal, Rwanda, Kosovo, ASEAN, and Pakistan. She also leads knowledge management and thematic development in Sustainable Finance, working closely with strategic partners and internal stakeholders to strengthen impact and innovation. Prior to her current role, Yaëlle has work as an advisor for SME finance in Senegal focusing on the implementation of green and gender finance activities with both political and non-government partners.
Yaëlle holds a Master’s Degree in International Business Management from the University of Tübingen and the EM Strasbourg Business School.
