What we do

Sustainable finance means systematically integrating sustainability criteria into financial decision-making.
GIZ sustainable finance experts work with our partners to redirect financial flows to environmentally and socially sustainable activities and strengthen how they manage environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risks.
Our strong local presence and long-term partnerships in developing and emerging economies allow us to support the transformation of financial systems. We do this through advisory services, technical assistance, and global knowledge transfer.
