Fernanda Feil holds a PhD in Economics with a specialisation in sustainable finance, financial systems, economic development, and macroeconomic analysis. She was also a Visiting Scholar at Fluminense Federal University (UFF). Fernanda helped create and managed the Economic Studies Department at the Brazilian Development Association (ABDE). Before that, she was an advisor to the CEO of Banco Regional de Desenvolvimento do Extremo Sol (BRDE) and a consultant at Rosenberg e Associados and Ideias Consultoria. Recently, Fernanda served as a consultant for Agence Française de Développement (AFD) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). She has published academic articles on public banks, development banks, the green sustainable transition and sustainable finance, and has participated in conferences and lectures in Brazil and abroad.
