José Henrique holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations, specialising in Americas and Europe continents from the Jagiellonian University, with an exchange at Sciences Po Bordeaux, on political science and ecological transition. Prior to joining GIZ, he worked at Moss.Earth with a focus on carbon credits from conservation projects in the Amazon rainforest. Following that, he joined the Brazilian Alliance for Sustainable Finance and Investment (BRASFI), where he contributed to studies on ESG agribusiness and sustainable finance for the Amazon biome. José Henrique also took part in the Global Thought Leaders Programme from the Columbia University, where he developed a milestone project on climate migration and forced displacement in Brazil's Northeastern.
