Charlotte Waldraff is an advisor on sustainable finance in the Sustainable Economic Transformation and Sustainable Finance Global Project. She focuses on policy and regulatory development and on nature finance, especially channeling capital into nature-based solutions. Previously, Charlotte advised the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) on sustainable finance. Prior to joining GIZ in 2020, she worked at BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking in London, where she covered institutional investors in the UK, Ireland, and France. Charlotte holds a Master’s degree in European History and Politics from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Cambridge University.
