Charlotte is an advisor on sustainable finance at GIZ, where her work focuses on policy development and private capital mobilization for nature. Over the past five years, she has provided strategic and technical advice to several governments, including the Peruvian government on its taxonomy development and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). Charlotte currently leads ’Finance for Nature’, a public-private partnership between GIZ and Triodos Investment Management implemented in Kenya, Mexico, and Peru. Prior to joining GIZ in 2020, she worked in BNP Paribas’ Foreign Exchange and Local Markets division in London, covering institutional investors in the UK, Ireland, and France.
Charlotte holds a Master’s Degree in European History and Politics from Columbia University (USA) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Cambridge University (GB).
