Angela Saul is an advisor on sustainable finance whose work centres around sustainable finance policy and regulation with a focus on taxonomies. Before joining GIZ, Angela was awarded the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) Fellowship. As a senior economist, she advised on capital market development at the Ministry of Finance in Kampala, Uganda, and worked at a foreign policy think tank in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Before this, she worked as an analyst at an asset manager in Guernsey, UK. Angela holds a Master’s degree in International Economics and Business from the University of Passau and a double Bachelor’s degree (Honours) in European Business Administration from the Münster Business School and the University of Portsmouth Business School.
